Welcome to my electronic portfolio! As Associate Professor of Rhetoric at Texas Wesleyan University, I enjoy teaching writing courses at all levels, teaching honors seminars and student success courses, supervising writing internships, and serving as general editor of two Wesleyan publications: Aries: a journal of creative expression and University Scholars. This year, I have enjoyed collaborating with faculty colleagues as part of Texas Wesleyan's learning communities. My research interests include rhetorical theory, cultural studies, and feminist composition. I am passionate about meeting students where they are and helping them fan the flames of their interests to claim an education and a career they will find rewarding. When I am not at Texas Wesleyan, you will find me spending time with my life partner Brandon and our two sons and looking for time to read a good book or to watch a movie with friends.
